Police said two high school teachers and one child sustained injuries in a crash on Northwest 29th Avenue and 95th Street in Miami.

In a news release, authorities said the crash happened when the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 attempted to avoid a collision with a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. Subsequently, the truck driver hit another vehicle conveying the teachers and the child.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck sustained minor injuries as well. Paramedics transported the victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Police said the crash remains an active investigation. More details will be made available once the investigation is complete.
