A spokesman for the Boston Police Department reported that a 32-year-old woman died after a car crash on Morton Street (MA-203)
A Ford truck reportedly sped onto Morton Street northbound from Canterbury Street. The truck then rolled over and struck an oncoming Nissan Versa hatchback in the process. The hatchback, driven by a 32-year-old woman got hit by the truck and both vehicles drifted off the MA-203 northbound road, police said.
The 35-year-old driver of the truck and his 27-year-old passenger have sustained severe injuries from the crash, police said.
Emergency First Responders arrived at the site of the crash shortly after the accident happened. All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. The woman that was driving the Hatchback was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
There is still a traffic delay on MA-203 due to the severity of the crash. It is suggested to use an alternative route.
Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, commented on the crash. “We are sorry to hear about this tragic accident that claimed the life of one person and caused major injuries to the other victims.
