Two women sustained injuries after a Dodge Camper van crashed on Southeast Expressway (MA-3), according to a police department spokesperson.
The driver of the van, a 47-year-old woman, lost control of the vehicle, a spokesperson stated. As the driver tried to stop the vehicle, the van reportedly flipped. Then, the van struck an oncoming car close to the driver’s side. After the van struck the oncoming car, it rolled off the road and landed on its side where it came to a halt. The accident happened near Neponset Trail. Police stated that there was a 43-year-old woman in the van with the driver at the time of the crash.
Subsequently, the driver of the other car, a 31-year-old woman, reportedly sustained injuries. According to an EMS report, she suffered injuries to her left leg and her left arm. Her injuries were reported as life-threatening.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van was immobile when EMS arrived, police stated. Additionally, the van’s passenger was in agonizing pain too. Consequently, first responders rushed all three women to a nearby hospital for prompt medical attention. **Roger, should the title and heading be changed to 3 Injured?**
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
