Boston Police reported that an accident occurred on American Legion Highway, which led to the closure of the northbound lane.
According to a spokesman for the Boston Police Department, there was a buildup of traffic following the crash that happened on American Legion Highway. The northbound lane has reportedly been reopened after authorities cleared the wreckage off the road. Officers said that traffic flow is gradually returning to normal after a 2-hour delay.
At the moment, police are still investigating the accident to find out the source of the crash, spokesman said. Several people sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of the crash. It was reported that about 11 persons were involved total between several different vehicles.
When EMS arrived, four people had to be taken to a hospital nearby for further treatment, while the rest were treated for minor injuries on sit.
