A crash sent a Miami-Dade police cruiser into the bushes, just outside of a Miami Shores house.
Witnesses sighted the Miami-Dade police cruiser in the bushes near a home. Additionally, a damaged gray Nissan Maxima was seen near the intersection of 103rd Street and Northeast Second Avenue.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue tended to the injured officer. Subsequently, they transported him to a nearby hospital; however, officials confirmed the officer is okay. The driver of the Maxima remained at the scene and appeared to be okay too.
Police have not released details of the parties involved in the crash. At the time of compiling this report, authorities have yet to provide any further information to the press.
