Police Investigating Crash In Miami Which Leaves 1 Injured
April 19, 2018 The Accident and Injury Team

Police are investigating a ghastly crash in Miami on Northwest 16th Street which resulted in a woman being seriously injured. The incident involved a Sport Utility Vehicle and a semi-truck.

In a report by officials, the semi-truck driver hit the SUV from the rear and caused it to crash into a nearby pole. The two  impacts caused the driver serious injuries.

He was the only occupant in the vehicle and was taken to the hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

The driver of the semi did not sustain any injuries during the initial collision.

A thorough investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and no further details have been released by the authorities.

Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, commented on the crash.  “All accidents are  unexpected but one of the most dangerous kinds of accidents are the kind with multiple impacts. Just one minor impact can cause sever damage and when it’s more than one you multiply the risk factor of injuries. Serious back and neck injuries are often very debilitating. The victim in this accident suffered from two impacts and we hope he has a speedy recovery from his injuries. Please do not hesitate to ask for help.”
