A man and a young child attempted to dine and dash at a local restaurant, and struck a woman.
According to the investigator’s report, the victim was a woman that was trying stop the two suspects while they were attempting to run away in their vehicle. The man and the child that were fleeing struck the woman. This happened at a local restaurant in Louisville. It was located at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville. The Louisville Metro Police Department are still investigating the incidence.
It was reported that the victim was transported to the University Hospital in critical condition. The two suspects were immediately taken into police custody. It is not known yet what the extent of the injuries are at this time. However, many cases of car accidents that strike a pedestrian result in injuries to the neck or back. This can lead to great pain or a more serious injury. She may also have suffered bone fractures, skin cuts or worse injuries.
Several customers expressed their shock and disapproval for the cruel act of endangering a life in that manner. This statement that was given by an eye-witness, “you hear about hitting another person with their fists… but to run over somebody… that just blows my mind”. Another woman testified. “It is a terrible thing. Because it has to be really bad for these guys (Louisville Metro Police officers) to be out here like this, I know that much”
