Pedestrian Severely Injured In Bardstown Road Accident

It was reported that a person was struck by a car on Bardstown Road in Louisville.

According to a report statement by MetroSafe, the accident happened near the intersection of Bardstown Road and Buechel Bypass. The Police department has not provided any further details regarding the crash, or released the identity of the man who was hit by the car.

However, it was reported that the victim of the crash sustained injuries. The man may have had injuries to the head, arms, hips and back. He could also have a fracture or joint dislocation. At this time, it is not known whether the victim’s injuries are life-threatening. Likewise, any further details regarding his condition are not yet known.

Emergency Medical Service crew reportedly arrived at the site of the accident to attend to all involved. It was not reported whether or not the driver of the car sustained injury. Meanwhile, according to MetroSafe, EMS transported the person struck by the car to the hospital.
