Authorities report a person was severely injured after being struck by a car on Ashmont Street in Boston.
According to Boston Police Department the accident happened near the intersection of Bruce Street and Ashmont Street. The pedestrian, a man in his 40’s, was struck by a car as he crossed the street.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and law enforcement did not specify if they were life-threatening or not.
An EMS crew arrived at the site of the accident to attend to the victim and it was not revealed whether or not the driver of the car involved in the incident sustained any injuries. The Louisville EMS transported the pedestrian to the nearby hospital.
The identities of the man struck by the car and the driver of the vehicle were not revealed by law enforcement and no other details were given to the public.
