The police reported that an unidentified man was killed and a 26-year-old woman was severely injured in an accident on US Route 60 in Louisville.
This is a recent crash in Louisville. All of the facts have not been released by the Louisville Metro Police Department, but this is what is presently known.
A LMPD spokesperson reported, “The accident is mysterious. When the police got to the site of the crash, the deceased was found under a white Cadillac. The other car involved in the crash had damage to all sides of the car, an indication of a rollover crash.” He also added that it was not clear if the accident was a head-on collision or a sideswipe crash.
The accident reportedly happened on Shelbyville Rd, also known as US-60.
The LMPD spokesperson stated that the identity of the deceased has not been released due to the extent of the accident. However, Louisville police disclosed that the person who was injured in the crash was a 26-year-old woman. The rescue team removed her from the vehicle and transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. She reportedly has injuries to the neck and shoulder. The victim appeared to be in great pain while she was being moved away from the site, police said.
The cause of this fatal crash is still under investigation.
