According to the information reported by MetroSafe, a car crashed into a building at 4th St. and Main St., resulting in an injury.
From the report broadcast by MetroSafe, the car accident happened in Downtown Louisville. MetroSafe stated that a call came in to report the accident had occurred at 4th Street and Main Street. However, it was not reported if the cause of the crash was cited by the caller.
The car reportedly careened straight into the building, where one person was injured according to a report. Emergency Medical Service arrived at the site of the accident to provide medical care. EMS then transported the injured person to University of Louisville Hospital.
The identity of the injured person has not been released, however. It could be a resident, the driver of the car, or a pedestrian walking along the street. All of the details of the accident have not been made available. The injured person may have had head, chest, hip or back injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

I was reported that one person had injuries. We hope that it will be quickly revealed what the cause was and that the injuries to the victim are not too serious.”
