No further details were provided by authorities and the crash is still under investigation.
Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, commented on the crash. “Rear-end accidents are one of the most dangerous kinds of accidents. Often, when a person is rear-ended they are completely taken off-guard and have not had an opportunity to brace for an impact. Rear-end accidents often lead to serious back and neck injuries. We hope that those involved receive the proper medical care.”
