It was not known if the driver of the brown car that struck the motorcyclist was distracted at the time of the crash. It was also not known if alcohol was involved. Toxicology results of the driver are pending. It was reported that the crash is still under investigation.
The driver of the sedan was not reported to be injured.
Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, comments on this crash. “Accidents involving motorcycles have the highest chance of their drivers either being seriously injured or even losing your life in the crash. We hope that this motorcyclist quickly recovers. Make sure you always were the proper clothing and especially a helmet when riding a motorcycle.”
