Man Left Severely Injured While Trying To Cross Northwest 28th Avenue In Miami

An elderly man was hit and is now having to recover having sustained very serious injuries. The accident happened on Northwest 28th Avenue in Miami.

According to Authorities, he was hit by the driver of a car who was driving under the influence of alcohol. Over speeding was identified as a factor that led to the accident though there might other possible causes.

The man was taken to a local hospital for prompt medical attention. His medical condition is unknown at the moment of filing this report.

The driver of the car involved in the accident however sustained minor injuries and was attended to by Emergency crew who was on ground at the scene of the crash.

Due to the accident, traffic was seen building up gradually. Alternative routes are advised for commuters.

An ongoing investigation is being carried out by investigators in order to arrive at a conclusive end.

Details of the victim have not been released by the Authorities yet.
