A 2010 Land Rover LR4 reportedly rear-ended a white Chevy Malibu which resulted in several injured.
It was reported that this accident took place on Hancock Street (MA-3A). According to Boston Police Department, the SUV was driving behind the Malibu and both were traveling at a high rate of speed. The Malibu, driven by a 31-year-old man slowed down while approaching the traffic light. The driver of the SUV did not notice the Malibu’s brake lights and struck the rear of the car at full speed.
The crash was such a high impact that it caused the Malibu to spin around when it was hit.
Police were seen on the scene investigating and directing traffic while the wreckage was being removed.
The emergency team reported that 3 people sustained injuries from this crash, both drivers and the passenger of the SUV were hurt but not in critical condition. They were all taken to a nearby hospital.
Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, commented on the crash. “The injuries sustained from the accident were thankfully not very severe but in some cases they can be. We recommend that all victims in any crash seek proper medical treatment. Even minor accidents can cause neck and back injuries.
