BPD reported that a Sports Utility Vehicle slammed into a Dearborn Liquor Store. Three people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
A witness reportedly called the Boston Police Department to report that a Lexus SUV crashed into a liquor store at the intersection of Dearborn Street and Dudley Street. Upon arrival the police discovered that the SUV apparently drove into the Dearborn liquor store itself which is located adjacent to the Gina Grocery Store in Roxbury, Boston.
The driver of the silver colored SUV was a 33-year-old man. Police authorities state that toxicology results for the driver are pending.
The SUV damaged the front of the store front and injured a female and two men in the process. The 23-year-old female sustained minor injuries and was treated at the site of the crash. The men also received injuries in the form of midsection lacerations.
The driver of the SUV sustained only minor injuries. Emergency response crews transported the injured victims to a nearby hospital meanwhile police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
