It was reported by the police that a minivan, driven by a 45-year-old man, rolled over on the Truman Parkway near South of Francis D. Martini Memorial Shell Park. The cause of the rollover crash was not known.
A police officer onsite commented that the accident might have happened when one of the minivan’s wheels popped causing the vehicle to lose control. There was also speculation that there may have been other factors that also led to the crash which is still under investigation.
EMS arrived within minutes after the accident happened to give medical aid to the victims. Both the man and his 19-year-old daughter sustained traumatic injuries to their head, shoulder, back and legs.
