A Buick LaCrosse reportedly struck another vehicle with six occupants at the intersection of Medora Rd and Blevins Gap Rd.
Law enforcement authorities reported that a 42-year-old man drove his Buick LcCrosse directly towards an oncoming Ford at the intersection of Medora Rd and Blevins Gap Rd. The Buick crashed into the driver’s side of the Ford that was driven by a 45-year-old man who was traveling with his wife and four children, police said.
According to EMS, who arrived shortly after the accident occurred, the Buick driver suffered only minor injuries. Unfortunately the family members occupying the Ford suffered various degrees of severe injuries. They were all given on-site medical care and then transported to a nearby hospital.
The Buick driver that struck the Ford remained at the site of the crash after being given medical treatment and was questioned by police. No other details were released by authorities and no charges were filed at the time of this report. Police are still investigating crash.
