A crash between a car and an all-terrain vehicle left two adults and a child hospitalized in Southwest Miami-Dade, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The accident happened at the intersection of Southwest 198th Street and Grossman Drive. It happened after a car swerved and struck an all-terrain vehicle. According to Fire Rescue spokesman, Lt. Felipe Lay, the authorities received a distress call informing them of the crash. First emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash happened.
Fire rescue spokesman, Lieutenant Felipe Lay, also stated that the two victims found in the car following the crash were an adult and a toddler. A teenager who drove the ATV is said to have been injured. He suffered a back injury and his spinal cord could be affected. He was airlifted to the hospital.
The other two victims who were transported to the Jackson South Trauma Center by an ambulance are a toddler and an adult who suffered a neck injury. Both are also in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
