According to a witness, a white colored car driven by a 29 year-old man struck another car which resulted in several crashes. After the first crash reportedly caused by the white car, the other oncoming vehicles ran into the scene causing more crashes and injuries.
The police, in a written statement, said the cause of the crash is still being investigated. It is not known whether the driver of the white car was impaired or was distracted. The actual cause of the accident is not yet known.
According to the police, a total of 7 cars were involved in the crash. They also added that there were 11 persons involved all together.
The last two cars that crashed into the accident were mildly damaged with passengers being mildly injured. Meanwhile, the people in the other 5 cars sustained injuries on the head, neck, arm, hip, back and more. Some with traumatic injuries while others with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The injured victims have been hospitalized.
Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, comments on this crash. “It is very see that one accident involved 7 vehicles and injured so many people. We hope that the police can quickly conclude their investigation. If you are unsure of what to do when you’ve been involved in an accident, please give our team a call. We can treat your injuries and also, if you wish, refer you to a very competent attorney in case you have a legal claim. Since we are NOT an attorney referral service, we have no interest in your legal claim beyond trying to help you obtain the best attorney to help you.”
