Five people have been severely injured after a crash on Bradbe Road, LMPD reported.
According to officials, the driver of a Honda CRV was traveling on Bradbe Road and apparently lost control of the vehicle. The 32-year-old driver reportedly made an effort to crash his dysfunctional SUV into an isolated area to prevent anyone else being involved and to minimize his risks of a vehicular impact. However, it eventually sideswiped an oncoming Subaru STI on the opposite lane, police said.
The driver of the CRV and two other passengers were reportedly treated for injuries by the EMS Crew on site. They were later transported to a nearby hospital.
Also, police reported that the two occupants who were in the Subaru were also injured. The driver of the SUV was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated from it, officials said. They have both been hospitalized as well.
Officials said the crash is still under investigation.
