Investigations are underway regarding a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 93 in Miami, authorities report.
Miami-Dade Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 93. A report indicated that the driver of a 2014 Ford F-150 was northbound on Interstate 93; the victim also traveled northbound on the interstate in a 2003 Ford F-150. Subsequently, the former struck the back of the latter’s truck, causing the woman in the ’03 F-150 to swerve several times before she lost control and flipped the truck into a concrete barrier. The victim was ejected during the course of the accident.
Paramedics arrived at the scene of the crash within minutes. They airlifted the injured woman to the closest hospital for prompt medical attention. Meanwhile, paramedics treated the other driver at the scene for minor injuries.
Officials said charges are pending. Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. They have yet to release any additional details or information regarding the crash.
