An accident was reported by Boston Police Department covering a severe crash on Morton St at the American Legion Highway intersection. A teen sustained life-threatening injuries in this accident.
According to the report, a 17-year-old boy was a passenger in a car traveling northbound on Morton Street when the accident occurred. A trailer truck reportedly struck a four door Chevy. Along with the driver, there were 2 passengers in the Chevy when the crash happened, police said.
The other two people in the Chevy were both men ages 30 and 27 according to the report. The identity of the crash victims is still being withheld at the time of this story being written.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash with injuries early. According to the information received from the report, the trailer truck operator sustained minor injuries. He was treated at the scene of the crash. Meanwhile, the teen was immobile and reportedly unconscious, after the crash took place. The other men in the Chevy were also injured, and were taken, with the teenager to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the crash is not clearly stated yet by local police. This story will be updated as more information is made available.
