Police report a high speed head-on collision leaves one man in critical condition and three others injured in Circuit Drive accident.
Boston Police stated that the accident happened on Circuit Drive when a Hyundai Accent crossed the center traffic line and struck a Chevrolet Equinox head-on. According to the reported given by the emergency crews the driver of the Hyundai apparently suffered a medical emergency before the crash which is suspected to have caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
EMS arrived shortly after the accident and reported that the driver of the Hyundai was found unconscious and in critical condition. The driver was assessed on-site and transported immediately to the nearby hospital and was reported to be in coma when he arrived. The driver of the Chevy and its two passengers also suffered severe injuries from the crash and were taken to the same hospital.
No other details were released to the public and law enforcement is still investigating the incident.
