Police reported two in critical condition and three others injured following a two-car crash on Interstate 93 in Boston.
According to authorities the crash happened along the southbound lane of the I-93 Southeast Expressway. The cause of the two-car crash has not yet been released to the public.
Emergency responders reported that the drivers, a 34-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, were unconscious and in critical condition after the accident. The three other injured people who suffered various injuries were the passengers of the two drivers.
All of the injured victims were treated on-site by EMS and were then transported to a nearby medical center, Boston Police said.
The identity of the victims was not released by authorities and the incident is still under investigation.
