According to the report received from Boston Police Department, a 2013 Mazda 6 crashed into a school bus after violating traffic light.

A 32-year-old man from Dedham was reported by the police to have crashed into a school bus containing 3 students. This crash happened on Neponset Valley Pkwy, near Colchester Street Intersection. According to the report, the Mazda driver drove into the school bus because he didn’t observe the red light signal that was showing on the traffic light.  It struck the school bus, which was heading towards Brush Hill Road.

It was reported that the navy blue Mazda hit the school bus on its side. The 39-year-old driver of the bus lost control of the bus. The school bus swerved and flipped, and laid on the road, said the police.

First emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash earlier. The students in the school bus were reported to be in pain from their injuries.   According to authorities, the students were injured, along with the driver of the bus and the driver of the Mazda. The driver of the bus had a fracture on the right leg and the Mazda’s driver was complaining of injuries to the neck back and shoulders.  All the victim of the crash has been transported to the hospital for treatment.  The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, comments on this crash.  “It is unfortunate to see this major accident with injuries involving school children.   We hope that their injuries aren’t too severe.  If you are unsure of what to do when you’ve been involved in an accident, please give our team a call.  We can treat your injuries and also, if you wish, refer you to a very competent attorney in case you have a legal claim.  Since we are NOT an attorney referral service, we have no interest in your legal claim beyond trying to help you obtain the best attorney to help you.”
