Police reported that the driver of a Dodge Caliber and his 2 passengers were badly injured after an accident on Grade Lane.
The accident happened when the Dodge Caliber struck into a school bus at the Grade Ln and Fern Valley Rd intersection, police said. LMPD stated that the driver of the school bus violated a stop sign and entered the intersection into the path of the oncoming Caliber. The driver of the Dodge attempted to turn right from Grade Ln into Fern Valley Rd when the bus pulled in front of them.
Police reported that there were three occupants in the Dodge. All of the occupants of the car sustained severe injuries. The driver was in the worst condition. They were taken all to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
According to the authorities, both vehicles were damaged from the collision. The bus driver reportedly sustained no injuries and there were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.
