Police reported that two vehicles were involved in an unusual accident due to angry chase, leading to crashes involving 3 people.

A 37-year-old driver in a Hyundai  reportedly hit a Chevrolet car from behind at a traffic light post. After the initial crash the traffic light turned green and the driver of the Hyundai sped off leaving the scene of the collision. The Chevrolet, driven by a 32-year-old,  then began to pursue the Hyundai.

Police stated that the Chevy driver struck the Hyundai from behind several times while chasing the other vehicle. The Chevy reportedly overtook the Hyundai and sideswiped it causing it to come to a halt. Both drivers sustained injuries during the collisions.

A passersby reportedly called the police after the vehicles came to a stop. All of the riders in both of the vehicles were taken to the hospital for injuries.

No charges have been filed and police are still investigating the incident.

Dr. Brian Elias, from The Accident and Injury Team, commented on the crash. “We hope that everyone involved in this accident has a speedy recovery. Vehicle collisions at even low speeds can cause serious neck or back injuries. We recommend that all  parties involved in any accident to seek medical attention.”
