Police reported that 3 people were severely injured in a crash involving a bicyclist, a truck and a sedan.
It was reported this crash happened off Beulah Church Road in Louisville. This was reported by a Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman. He stated that the driver was a 30-year-old woman that was driving the truck that initiated the crash. She swerved briskly into the opposite lane, terrifying the bicyclist.
Meanwhile the oncoming sedan driven by a 61-year-old woman attempted to swerve away from the truck. However, It was reported that the car bashed the right side of the truck and hit the bicyclist.
The truck was forced into the shoulder of the road, police said. The terrified bicyclist managed to escape a head on impact but was still hit, sustaining minor injuries.
First emergency responders arrived early at the site of the crash. As it was reported, the 23-year-old bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital with shoulder and neck injuries. The driver of the sedan and its passenger, a 25-year-old woman’ was severely injured. The driver of the truck was injured as well. The other victims of the accident may have neck, back or hip injuries.
All the victims in this accident were transported to a nearby hospitals for treatment.
