49-year-old driver loses control of her vehicle in rollover accident resulting in injuries on Taylorsville Road.
According to a police department spokesman the crash happened along Taylorsville Road near new Hopewell Rd. It was reported that the man who drove the car was driving at high speeds when he suddenly veered off the road rolling over in the process. Police do not know why the driver lost control of his vehicle.
EMS arrived at the site of the crash minutes after the emergency was called in. According to the responders’ report the driver and his passenger, a 35-year-old woman, both suffered life-threatening injuries. The woman received multiple injuries to her chest, arms and head. The driver sustained traumatic injuries on his head and chest as well. Both of the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
The identities of the victims were not released by authorities and the incident is currently under investigation.
