First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash early. The passenger of the car was in comma, while the driver was immobile. They were both transported to the Massachusetts General Hospital.
The truck driver said, “The crash happened just less than a minute after this truck developed a mechanical problem”. “I could not move the truck anymore. My assistant and I got down to put a caution sign on the highway. As we were doing that we saw the car trying to swerve towards the trailer and it crashed.”
The police are on site of the crash and are investigating.
