Authorities reported that the accident occurred on Taylorsville Road where two motorcycle riders, who were racing each other, collided while heading eastbound.

Police did not give an official statement saying who was at fault in the accident and say they are currently investigating the incident to find out what was the actual cause of the crash.

EMS arrived to the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer on-site first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that one of the motorcycle drivers was unconscious and in critical condition when they arrived due to the severe injuries he sustained in the collision.
