According to the police the accident happened on Bardstown Road (US-150) where a 30-year-old man driving a Mazda MPV lost control of his vehicle when his front right tire blew out. Louisville Metro Police spokesman commented of the incidence, “It’s rare when a tire blowing out can cause an accident this badly causing the vehicle to flip upside down but it happens”.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash just a few minutes after it happened.
