An accident reportedly caused by a two-car crash on Frankfort Avenue (US-60) near Cannons Lane intersection has blocked westbound traffic.
Authorities reported that a 34-year-old man crashed into an oncoming vehicle. The cars involved in the crash blocked the road, causing traffic delay on US-60. Louisville Metro Police Traffic Unit worked to clear the way for traffic.
Four people were involved in the accident which included the driver of the car that reportedly struck the 2nd vehicle, who was the sole rider, and the 3 occupants in the 2nd car that was hit.
Emergency crews reported that all parties involved in the crash sustained injuries. Some of the injuries were reportedly life-threatening and they were all transported to the hospital for treatment.
